Carly & Scott, Coed-Y-Mwster Wedding
As stated on their website
"Idyllically nestled amongst flourishing Welsh woodland. The perfect balance between town & country. From enjoying views over the woodland canopy with a glass of fizz in hand, to immersing yourself in the lively bars & shops just a short drive away, our Victorian mansion is a real hidden gem." Yes, I would certainly agree, this venue is a hidden gem.
On the 2nd April 2018 I had the pleasure of returning to this venue to photograph the superb wedding of Carly & Scott. Assisted on the day by the excellent photographer, Jonathan from Cross-Jones Photography who I have had working for me on so many occasions and someone I can trust to produce very high quality work. As well as a wedding photographer check out his newborn photography, highly recommended.
The morning part of the day was broken up with me spend time with Carly and the girls and Jonathan spending time with Scott and the guys before catching up at the start of the ceremony. Held within the hotel the room is nicely decored and fitting for the occasion. Knowing Scott well I asked if he was going to cry when he was to see his beautiful wife to be, walk down the aisle, most probably he said and true to his word, he cried ;) and I don't blame him as she looked stunning. (Sorry Scott I had to mention that for those who may not have been aware)
After the ceremony, we headed outside, although immediately the weather decided to put a stop to that when it started to rain with everyone quickly heading back inside. Luckily we managed to get a confetti shot and reverting to plan b we were able to do the family shots indoors.
Before we knew it, we were into the evening and by this time the drinks had been flowing well, and clearly, everyone including myself were having a great time. The time had eventually come to leave when a guest made it clear to me how she felt :) ah (see below)
