Clare & John - Peterstone Court
WEDDING DAY
Peterstone Court Country House set in the heart of the Brecons Beacons and includes stunning views of Pen-y-fan which stands at a height of 886 metres (2,907 ft) above sea-level, i'm not surprised it can be seen. With just a short drive away the town of Brecon, Peterstone Court feels like it is set many miles from any town due to its vast surrounding countryside. Aside from the idyllic setting, Peterstone Court is host to many events spa days and stunning wedding days and Clare and John certainly made the right choice when they chose this location.
It was the first time for me to be shooting a wedding at this location so despite the excitement that Clare and John both had about their big day, I felt the same about working there, well, okay not quite the same but I was looking forward to it. :)
I first met up with Clare at the Celtic Manor during one of Clares hectic working days. Clare seemed very sure about what she wanted for her wedding and I was over the moon when she asked me to be her photographer. Now i was booked i was all set for the wedding which was held on August 12th.
The journey from my home to Peterstone stone took exactly an hour as I made way way along the M4 before travelling north on the A470 into Brecon. I arrived early where I met John who seemed very chilled out. I later met up with Clare where I then started my day with some bridal prep shots. As John was also at the venue getting ready it gave me an opportunity to also get some groom shots which is not always possible.
The weather was looking awesome, the skies were blue, the clouds whiter than white and the surrounding fields were greener than a granny smiths apple :)
I'm notgoing to waffle on any more, Instead I will leave you with a selection of images from the day to see what we got up too. Also below are a list of those who also helped make Clare and Johns wedding day that extra special, not forgetting the staff at Peterstone Court who were very friendly and helpful all day.
