THE OLD BARN INN

Last weekend I made a short journey from home to photograph a wedding a St Michael and All Angels Church in lower Machen. It was only the second time for me to capture a wedding there and it's a place that means so much to me having got married there myself in 2006.

I arrived just before Robin on what was a beautiful sunny November’s day.

The ceremony was set for 1.30 pm although we can laugh now but it was delayed due to the late arrival of Rachel's mum.

This was a knock on effect for the rest of the day in regards to the timings but we managed to get as much done as possible.

With the nights now upon us, shooting weddings at this time of year means less time time for portraits and family photos during daylight hours but it does give a different opportunity to summer weddings where to be that little bit more creative which is what we did early evening, whilst at the venue, this being The Old Barninn in Llanmartin.
