Wow, what a scorching day to shoot Laura and Gary’s wedding yesterday at Canada Lodge and Lake. With the hottest day of the year planned it wasn’t going to be an easy day working and even by 8.30 am I could feel how warm it was getting. Laura and Gary originally planned to get married abroad and although plans changed they certainly had the weather for their big day.

I started the morning off with Laura at the bridal lodge on the far side of the lake whilst my colleague and Jonathan from Cross Jones Photography was with Gary for the groom prep. It was an early start with the ceremony taking place at 11am.

Thank you Laura and Gary for being so awesome, chilled, a good laugh, and trusting in me to capture your day. I loved it despite being so worn out towards the end. :) Congratulations to you both. Here are a few previews from your day.
