ST MELLONS HOTEL

I love a good wedding. Especially when you know the bride and groom and most of the guests and this wedding was just that and more.

The morning started off with me with Kara’s dad watching some of the cricket, o and photographing some details such as the dress etc. I later meet Kara and the bridesmaids who were “not running a little late from the hairdressers” ;) With Leon, was my colleague, the crazy and talented Owen Mathias from Owen Mathis Photography TOP BLOKE!!

We both met up at St Mary’s Church Marshfield where the ceremony was held. It has to be one of the nicest churches i have been to with large colourful and well maintained grounds. From here we all headed off to St Mellons Hotel . This was the first time for me to photograph a wedding here. Having meet up with Kara and Leon the day before at the hotel i was impressed with the everything. It was a very warm and bright day, challenging for a photographer but definitely got the best out of the day.

Leon did let me in on a little secret the day before. Kara said she didn’t like secrets so I decided not to tell her :)ah sorry Kara, but you will agree it was worth it to see your surprise guest.

Thank you for a brilliant day, glad I was able to fix the flag pole :) ah and check your photo booth was working :)
