Michaela and Dan
Wow what day this was. St Tewdrics House wedding venue, owned and run by 2018 Tour de France winner Geraint Thomas and his wife Sara, this is fast becoming the place to get married. As this was the first time for me to photograph a wedding there I can now see why.
The day started off with me meeting Michaela at St Pierre hotel for the bridal prep being cover by The Face Boss and Anna Williams Bridal Hair Specialist whilst my colleague Hannah, from Hannah Miles Photography met Dan at St Tewdrics House for groom prep. As the weather was so nice Michalea and Dan had opted for an outdoor ceremony.With the weather and the settings, It felt like being in the mediterranean.
We went around to the front of the house after the ceremony to cover the family photos and to also find a bit of shade for everyone. Due to the heat we opted to leave Michaela and Dans photos until later in the day which proved to be a good decision as it was a lot cooler.
As the evening fast approached so did more great opportunities arise to capture so amazing images, from the dance floor, to photographs with sparklers. The evening of a wedding allows me to bring out my creative side of wedding photography and on this particular day I was given that perfect opportunity to provide such images. All had their own little challenges and all turned out just i had hoped, in fact better.
