Briony and Gareth - Rosedew Farm Wedding
Well, what can I say !! Briony and Gareth were both made for each other. They were both the perfect bride and groom. Full of smiles, and laughs and both were so polite. They really knew how to have a great day for their wedding at Rosedew Farm Wedding Venue What a day to remember too. Getting married on the day of the King’s coronation.
“Taken from the Rosedew website” Farmers Barns is a family run enterprise which has grown over the past decade from a set of 5 self-catering cottages to a busy Wedding venue that can accommodate approximately 80 guests! We are situated in Rosedew Farm, a working farm on the beautiful South Welsh coast - only a five minute walk from Cwm Colhuw beach, and a 10 minute walk to the historic town of Llantwit Major”
The weather for the day was looking awful. Rain, rain, and more rain. As a photographer, this certainly causes us many issues. I was thinking all plans to head to Llantwit Major Beach later in the day for a few photos would be a no go. As I left home to head to Rosedew it was grey skies and lots of rain. Then, amazingly as I arrived at Rosedew it stopped and cleared up, and not just for a few minutes but for the rest of the day. Happy days :)
It was the first time this year for me to be back at Rosedew and to see the newly extended room. A fantastic idea, which now allows extra space for quests during the day to relax, a space to do group photos if it's raining, and many more, even doing confetti shots inside. Well done Rosedew and if you are thinking of getting married there then go for it. A superb venue, very well run, with very tasty food and friendly staff.
Below are a selection of images from the day to give you an idea of how awesome it was.
Credit to Jonathan of Cross Jones Photography for being an awesome second shooter for me and also great working with Simon Huntly Videographer highly recommended videographer.
